HiDoes anybody know where I can get a comprehensive detailed list of the standards used for the construction/format of financial instrument identifier codes, such as ISINs, Cusips, etc.
The type of stuff I'm looking for is info stating that, for instance, for ISIN codes, the first two characters should always be an ISO standard country code; it is always 12 digits long; positions 3 to 12 can be alphanumeric; the last digit is a check digit using the 10s complement methodology; etcI need this sort of information for as many international Alt ID's (i.e. ISIN, Cusip, Sedol, Wert, Valoren, Common, Sicovam, etc)
Many thanks if you can help
