I am trying to find out if a security can ever have multiple
ISINs. For example if a security is issued in one country and in
one currency and trades over various exchanges would only one ISIN
be issued (but different local ids would exist). If the same security is
issued in two or more different currencies would there be an ISIN issued
for each currency involved. Lastly if a security is issued in tranches
would each tranche level have a different ISIN. Any clarification
would be appreciated.
