Hand-over of numbering function to Nigeria and Vietnam on January 26, 2009

With effective date January 26, 2009 numbering function will be handed over from WM Datenservice (Germany), the responsible Substitute Numbering Agency (SNA) for Nigeria and Vietnam, to the appointed National Numbering Agencies (NNAs), Central Securities Clearing System Ltd. (Nigeria) and Vietnam Securities Depository. Both NNAs decided to allocate ISINs based on their numbering systems. ISINs allocated by the SNA will be replaced by the new ISINs allocated by the NNAs.
The new ISINs will be uploaded to the ANNA Service Bureau database as of January 26 and the ISINs allocated by the SNA will be put on inactive status.
