ISIN changes for Colombia on December 21, 2009

The Colombian National Numbering Agency, DECEVAL, informed that ISINs for Colombian equities allocated by the Substitute Numbering Agency, CUSIP Service Bureau in the US, will be replaced by CO-ISINs allocated by them. This measure was necessary since some data vendors already circulated these codes in the financial markets.

ISINs for all other types of financial instruments will be changed in March 2010. Information will be provided in due course via this website and by the Colombian Numbering Agency. Affected by this change are around 100 CO-ISINs for equities.
